With GV70 performance already earning high praise, Genesis concentrated on elevating the overall driving dynamics. All the chassis enhancements — including updated suspension components — work in harmony to create handling that feels effortless and precise. We were particularly impressed by the advanced road-scanning technology that makes the adaptive dampers incredibly responsive on the 2026 3.5T variants.
An upgraded steering-wheel damper effectively minimizes unwanted feedback and vibration. The system manages understeer and oversteer situations while keeping the driver firmly in control. Additional refinements have enhanced the GV70's poise when navigating tight corners and sweeping curves.
Much of the improved steering precision stems from better wheel control systems. This becomes most apparent when transitioning between different road surfaces, making it ideally suited for Phoenix area driving conditions.
Buyers can still choose between the efficient 300-hp 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and the robust 375-hp twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6. Standard all-wheel drive provides confidence across all driving scenarios.
GV70 drivers will find the familiar Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, and customizable My Mode settings. What's been added are specialized terrain modes including snow, mud, and sand. While we don’t have to worry about snow in Phoenix, we do like to have the opportunity to stary off the pavement!

Luxury lovers who also love new technologies will find the GV70 cockpit extremely exciting. There’s a 27-inch OLED display that stretches from behind the steering wheel to the center. It replaces the previously separate 12.3-in and 14.5-in screens as well as the analog gauges. Motor Trend calls the new system a “widescreen digital billboard”. But don’t let its high- tech nature worry you. It is easy to use with large tiles on the screen.
Genesis designers moved the smartphone charging pad under the armrest. This makes it very close at hand, but still out of the way. Other design upgrades include revised cupholders, enhanced ambient lighting, and center console updates. Sport models provide a chunky, flat-bottomed steering wheel.
3.5T Sport Prestige Trim
Fully loaded even more than before, the 3.5T Sport Prestige trim is the top of the trim ladder. It has quilted leather on the front seats. A massage function adds to the comfort of the front power chairs. Ride quality is further enhanced by an electronic noise-cancelling system. Car and Driver calls this model “an indulgent experience.”
New driver assistance features include the enhanced remote-parking assistant. This remote system can do all the work for diagonal or perpendicular spaces.
