The first-ever EV built by the Genesis brand made its debut at Auto Shanghai 2021 in April 2021 and is expected to arrive at dealerships in late 2021. Armed with an athletic exterior style and an opulent interior, the Genesis Electrified G80 promises to turn heads – but the all-electric powertrain is what will capture headlines. The 2022 Genesis Electrified G80 will come standard with all-wheel drive to deliver unparalleled performance with a zero-to-60 mph time of just 4.9 seconds. An innovative Disconnector Actuator System enables the Genesis Electrified G80 to switch between rear- and front-wheel drive as driving conditions dictate. Horsepower and torque ratings have not yet been released.
To make the Genesis Electrified G80 even more impressive, it is expected to have an electric driving range up to 310 miles. Equipped with 350-kW rapid charging, the Electrified G80 can recharge its battery from 10% to 80% in just 22 minutes. Fast recharging is made simple in the 2022 Genesis Electrified G80 with a 400/800-volt multi rapid charging system that allows you to optimize charging based on the power sources available.
